Pauline is the lovely name of one of the geese I designed a couple of years ago in a cross-stitch sampler. The geese were smartly sitting in a cart being taken to the pond by a dedicated country girl who loved her little flock beyond words. The alphabet print in the collection also refers to this bucolic sampler and is a great way for me to combine my love of cross-stitching, addiction to fabrics and the quilting world. The color palette in Pauline is one of my favorites, featuring dusty blues and antique reds, along with a mustard shade that so beautifully works with all the prints in the collection. ~L’ Atelier Perdu • visit: atelierperdu.fr
