Separator equipment is consisted of flask, separator and reflux condenser pipe. There is a baffle set on the bottom of condenser pipe which can absorb the moisture and let the other liquid material back to the reaction system.
Reflux condenser is a kind of glass instrument which can congeal the corrosive gas into liquor by heat exchange theory. This kind of pipe can be used to evaporate liquid or organic preparation to realize the condensation or backflow functions. Generally condenser pipe is set on the flask which has the reaction under backflow condition or the distilling flask which would gather the condensate liquor. The condensation of steam act on the inner wall of inner pipe. The space between inner pipe and external pipe is the water region which can absorb the heat of steam and transfer the heat. The water inlet usually has higher water pressure and in order to avoid the falling off of water pipe, the plastic tube should be tightened. When it is used under backflow condition, the bottom of condenser pipe should be inserted with a rubber plug. This rubber plug can insert in to the mouth of flask and take over the steam evaporated from the flask. According to the use, normally the backflow condenser pipe can be divided into three types. The first type is spherical condenser pipe. There are several crystal balls connected with each other in the inner pipe. This kind of condenser pipe can be used in the backflow of organic preparation and it is suitable for the liquor with different boiling point. After using for a long time, there will be rust in the spacer bush and the rush can be eliminated with hydrochloric acid. The second type is snakelike condenser pipe which can be set on the backflow reaction equipment. This kind of condenser pipe has a wide use scientific research, petrochemical engineering and pharmacy industry. The third type is straight condenser pipe which is usually used in distillation. It can be used when separate materials by distillation method.
