6. Consider Revisions to the Land Development Application Review, Inspection Fees and Land Use Applications (Zoning, Rezoning and Special Use Permit) Fee Schedule – The purpose of the public hearing is to consider revisions to the Land Development Application Review and Inspection Fees and Land Use Applications (Zoning, Rezoning and Special Use Permit) Fee Schedule as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 budget adoption process, pursuant to §15.2-107, §15.2-1427, and §15.2-2286 VA Code Ann.
The Department of Development Services recommends a 10.0% across-the-board increase in fees, with exceptions as noted in the table below.*
