City of Fayetteville Public Works employees did a great job assembling the City Hall Christmas tree again this year. They then assisted City Hall staff with decorating it.

NEW BUSINESSES RIBBON CUTTING

City of Fayetteville staff and elected officials welcomed The Wig Dr. to town and toured their new facility in Togwatee Village across Highway 54 from Piedmont Fayette Hospital. The Wig Dr. has served the North Atlanta suburbs for years, and now we are excited to have them serving the Southside, too, based right here in Fayetteville!

City of Fayetteville elected officials helped cut the ribbon at Enzo Italian Steakhouse in the Town at Trilith neighborhood. The restaurant has been open for a few months, and the ribbon cutting was part of the restaurant’s grand opening celebration and fund-raising gala, which benefited Two Sparrows Village.

The Fayetteville community lit up social media when it learned Outback Steakhouse was going to occupy the former Ruby Tuesday location across Highway 85 from the Fayette Pavilion shopping center. It was a great privilege to join the Fayette Chamber of Commerce in welcoming them with a ribbon cutting and Mayor’s Challenge Coin ceremony.

1. WALTON COMMUNITIES: Located behind Fayetteville City Hall & City Center Park, Walton Communities is the first mixed-use apartment complex to be built in Downtown Fayetteville.

2 NEBORS (FORMERLY MELEAR’S) The old Melear’s Barbecue restaurant on South Glynn Street (Highway 85), is being redeveloped as Nebors Restaurant.

3. THE FAYETTE MEADOWS residential neighborhood is located along Highway 92 South, just down the road from the Ingles and Publix shopping centers.

5. ARTISTIC GENERAL DENTISTRY is the first business to be built along the new Church Street extension.

4. DIXON FARM is approximately 13.6 acres of land located at Whitney Street and Summit Point Drive, next to the Summit Point (Publix) shopping center.

6. SONIC The former Hotlanta Wings restaurant building on North Glynn Street (Highway 85) will soon give way to a new Sonic drive-in restaurant.

7. SATTERFIELD OUTPARCEL #1 Situated just north of Piccadilly and Hardee’s on Highway 85, Satterfield Outparcel 1 will be home to Take 5 Oil Change (left) and Dunkin’ Donuts

9. SATTERFIELD OUTPARCEL #6: The Chicken Salad Chick, Jersey Mike’s, and Piedmont Urgent Care have all recently opened in Satterfield Outparcel 6 on Highway 85 North.

8. SATTERFIELD TOWNHOMES: The Satterfield mixed-use development on Highway 85 North is adding a residential component with its Satterfield Townhomes behind the new RaceTrac.

10. TESLA SHOWROOM: The former Haverty’s showroom on Highway 85 North at New Hope Road will become a Tesla automotive showroom in the coming months.

11. LAFAYETTE TOWNHOMES: is under construction at the corner of Campaign Trail and West Lanier Avenue (Highway 54).

12. KINGDOM CORNERS AT NEW HOPE: Located at New Hope Road and Highway 314, Kingdom Corners at New Hope retail center will have inter-parcel connectivity with adjacent Fayette Pavilion.

14. TOWN AT TRILITH: Development inside the Town at Trilith neighborhood has already welcomed several new businesses, and more are on the way.

13. TRILITH STUDIOS: Development continues at Trilith Studios as they add sound stages, workshops, offices, and more.

15. THE PORTAL GUESTHOUSE: Formerly known as “The Hotel at the Town at Trilith,” this exciting addition has now been revealed as Portal Guesthouse at Trilith. It is expected to open in early 2024.
