WHAT IS IT? Sketch up is a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural interior design, civil and mechanical engineering.
HISTORY SketchUp was initially developed by the company Last Software, located inBoulder, Colorado. Its first version was launched in August 2000, with the overall aim of providing a tool for creating 3D buildings. It was quickly recognized and rewarded.

EVOLUTION In version 5 of SketchUp they were added some new features that allow the user greater ease in creating objects. -The 14th of March of 2006 Google acquiredLast Software -the 9th of January, 2007 was launched SketchUp version 6. -the 9th of February, 2007. This latest update did not provide any new features. -The 17th of November, 2008, SketchUp 7 was launched with new user friendly features. Two of them are the integration with the online store Google 3D Warehouse.
