FOUR NEW INVIGOR HYBRIDS LAUNCHED
New options to keep growers at the top of their game.
T
he next evolution of the InVigor® lineup launched this fall with more options for growers to capture exceptional performance and cutting edge innovations. Leading the charge are four dynamic new InVigor hybrids that will be available in limited quantities. These include two highyielding “200 series” mid-maturing hybrids (InVigor L252 and InVigor L261), a first ever sclerotinia-tolerant hybrid (InVigor L160S), and a first of its kind (in western Canada) variety with game-changing pod shatter reduction technology (InVigor L140P).
All of the new hybrids are excellent examples of the latest in sophisticated Bayer CropScience canola innovation.
“InVigor has consistently raised the bar for hybrid canola performance for over 17 years and this season is no exception,” says Blaine Woycheshin, manager, oilseed crops – InVigor Seed for Bayer CropScience. “With the addition of these new hybrids to our already formidable lineup, we feel confident that there is an InVigor hybrid to fit every farm’s needs.” High yields and breakthrough technology InVigor L252 and InVigor L261 continue the tradition of outstanding yield in a dynamic lineup. In two years of Bayer CropScience internal trials, InVigor L252 was the highest yielding long-season zone hybrid and InVigor L261 was the highest yielding hybrid in the mid-season zone. The new InVigor L160S hybrid offers growers peace of mind knowing they are tackling sclerotinia head-on while still growing a top-yielding LibertyLink® hybrid.
And InVigor L140P hybrid with patented pod shatter reduction technology is the first canola hybrid ever that protects growers from pod shatter yield losses due to late-season environmental conditions such as wind events.
Commitment to innovation All of the new InVigor canola hybrids represent a Bayer CropScience research and development system running full throttle to keep InVigor growers at the top of their game and help tackle any issues they face.
The outstanding features of the new InVigor hybrids speak for themselves. There’s no better place to see just what they deliver than results from over 110 demonstration strip trials (DST) across the Prairies.
