Beach Break

What got you through the semester and why?

Mariana Ramos

You - Good Morning

It had peaceful sound and was nice to listen to when I got stressed. Great instrumentals.

Isis Cervantes

Brooklyn Baby - Lana Del Rey

It has a nice medley and it’s nice to listen to. I imagine myself driving down the beach with all the windows down.

Antoinette Michela

Fade Into You - Mazzy Star

Manny Pareja

Sailin’ on - Bad Brains

Because I love punk and fast hitting music and it keeps going for like two minutes and doesn’t even feel like a two-minute song.

Logan Stupin

Content Nausea - Parquet Courts

This song got me through the semester because it is very chaotic but melodic at the same time, always keeping me hyped for anything.

Denise Grande

Charcoal Baby - Blood Orange

It has a good beat which makes me happy and brings peace.

Pedro Rafael

Animals - Martin Garrix

This song can make me change my mood and feel motivated to do any hard task.

Mariana Escoto

This Must be the Place- Talking Heads

I’m always at peace when I listen to this song. It makes me feel like I'm falling in love.

Ian Winstanley

Bliss - Yung Lean (feat. FKA Twigs)

This song makes me embrace my inner chaos but in a really optimistic way.
