Create your own drum and explore the rhythmic beat of this traditional West African instrument with our skilled instructors. Personalize your drum with unique designs and colors. Then enjoy the music together.

Under Water Fireworks
Join us as we make colors burst! Summertime often brings beautiful fireworks displays, but in this activity, we'll take the bursts of color underwater with chemistry. Although it's not the same as real fireworks, you'll still be amazed by the colorful explosions you'll see.

Safari Adventure
We’re exploring the Land Down Under and learning about some of its unique animals. We'll craft felt animals and create Australia's famous boomerang while learning about its mechanics.
July 20 at 3 p.m. Antarctica Exploration
This week, we ' re heading to Antarctica to learn about snow formation. We'll explore the unique environment and use what we ' ve learned to create our own snow. Plus, we'll make ice cream with the freezing temperatures.

Mayan and Aztec Pyramid
Construction
Travel alongside us on an exciting adventure to South America where we'll delve into the amazing cultures and impressive accomplishments of the Mayan and Aztec peoples. We'll discover their history, traditions, architecture, mathematics, and astronomy. And the best part? We'll even get to design and build pyramids, which are a true testament to their ingenuity and creativity!

Art Club 2-Go Kits
Stop by and pick up art supplies. June is Harlem Renaissance and July is Art Deco / Art Nouveau. Artwork may be displayed in the library. Supplies are limited, first come first serve. These kits may include artists that may not be suitable for kids or teens. They are not intended for those under 18.
