De la classique des années 90 ne reste plus que le nom de Malijai où débutait l’épreuve. C’est par un tout autre versant, depuis le petit village de Saint-Jeannet dans les Alpes de Haute-Provence, qu’il faut désormais s’élancer. Avec d’entrée 6 kilomètres en montée très rythmée pour atteindre le Col d’Espinouse (838 m). La descente est un peu plus compliquée, avec notamment une dizaine d’épingles à négocier. La dernière partie de 5 kilomètres, relativement rectiligne et rapide le long de la Bléone, reprend en fait et sans difficulté le début de “Malijai / Puimichel”, disputée de nuit lors de l’édition 2020 du Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo…

From the classic stage of the 90s, only the name of Malijai remains, where the start was set.
