Design Approach
11 DESIGN APPROACH I believe in a solution oriented design, open to different styles and tailored around site-specific needs and client demands. I believe design is a multidisciplinary process of synthesis and that aesthetic is the product of this work. I believe in a human centered design that emphasizes the customer experience. EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN A designed environment can offer value beyond pure functionality and craft an holistic experience that connects with the client on the cognitive, emotional, social and behavioral plane. Through this deeper level of connection Design can share ideas and concepts as well as brand values and product information. DESIGN AS STORYTELLING Man is a storytelling animal, man communicates with stories and understands the world through stories. Therefore a narrative structure is a fundamental tool for the architect that gives coherence to the project and to hold together all its different components. At the same time story telling assures an effective communication with the user/client.

TAC ROAD SAFETY EDUCATION PROJECT
O ne doing is w ort h a t h o u sand tellings Road to Zero is a world first road safety education complex and has been developed for the Transport Autority Commission in partnership with the Melbourne Museum. In education as well as for the brand experience I believe in Piaget's idea that learn by doing is the best path to achieve learning outcomes and engaging with young mindsone doing

19 THE ARCHITECTURE OF CHOICE The exhibition will guide the customer through different thematic areas, each one designed to trigger a specific emotional state. We believe that this approach will lead the customer to an engaged mindset and optimize the learning experience. We implemented the visitor journey through an open Layout using forced perspective and wayfinding to direct the flow of visitors in a predictable way without forbidding any options. connect on a emotional level Behavioral Psychology affirms that emotions are the driving force behind most of our decisions, that's why it is necessary to connect with the audience on a deeper level in order to affect their behavior. From our experience, the following are three considerations that will help us create experiences that inspire and engage people. - Be surprising and positive - Give the children creation control and responsibility - Challenge conventions and change their perceptions of what they are capable of In education as well as for the brand experience we believe in Piaget's idea that learn by doing is the best path to achieve learning outcomes and engaging with young minds

SCHTONY OPTIK
SCHTONY OPTIK KIEL "Do something unique". This was the brief for the design of the optician's shop in Kiel's city centre. The client wanted an elegant and inviting atmosphere with effective presentation elements for his glasses collections. The shop combines transparency for optimal presentation of goods with "discrete" spaces for consultation and examination.
