About
FEED Nanaimo is a bimonthly digital magazine highlighting activities in (and only in) Nanaimo, BC. The magazine, hosted through ISSUU, is released every second Thursday and showcases events for the upcoming two weeks. Basically, we want to let you know about anything awesome that’s happening in Nanaimo! Through our concise visual presentation, we give you the facts necessary for being up to date with Nanaimo’s activities: where, when, how much, and who can attend. No long articles (well, not yet anyway), no editorials, no celebrities, no “what-not-to-wear”, no “how-to-lookyounger-in-10-easy-steps”, no preachy, health-obsessed articles about your new gluten-free diet, and no horoscopes. Essentially, we think Nanaimo is great and we want to let you know about all of the amazing things that are happening here that you wouldn’t normally hear about. Of course there’s always going to be the Bathtub Weekend, VIEX, and Maple Sugar Festival type events (which we also love!), but we want to let you know about the lesser know events as well. Do you have an event that you would like to see in our magazine? Great! We’d be honoured to publish the details. Simply email or Facebook us at least 1 week before the release of the next issue and provide the following information: Name of the Event Short Description When Where (Nanaimo only. Nothing north of Lantzville or south of Cassidy, please!) Cost Who Can Attend Genre (if it’s music or film related) Contact Info (e.g. Website, Email, Phone #, etc.) Remember, it must be AT LEAST 1 week before the release of the next issue.
