This project is bringing new ideas into Chinese traditional ecological agricultural technology park. The idea is to increase the beautifulness of the park, while providing the knowledge and activities from different kind of plants with different shapes and slops of topography, different types of plants, and lakes that alone the park, visitors can experience different kind of sight, smell, sound and feel. The buildings inside of parks also has flower shaped look, that can Blend into the park softly.

Therefore, seeking a new indurstry that can keep the economic growth and also reduce the pollution is very important for the city. Tourism industry is perfect for the site by taking the advantage of extisting agriculture field and activities. The park can also be a back yard garden for the city of Xuzhou, since Xuzhou is very occupied and lack of green space.

Section:

The sections are showing the possible slops that the garden area would possibly have. When people walk through the path, he could have different views by seeing those slops. Also, with different kind of plants, he could have different sight and smell. The main road is 8 meters wide, which allow people walking, biking and jogging. The path is 2 meters wide which divide public space into private space.

Industrial District Site Development Plan Valle De Las Palmas, MX

The site is located in Valle De Las Palmas. This is currently a private owned site that has the original plan to be a huge residential area. However, the plan was failed, and the only thing survived there is a state university. Since the site is very close to the US/Mexican border which is a good opportunity to set factories and export products to the US. This master plan is to make a alternative plan to save the site with developing new types of warehouse and housing, and create green energy for the area , thus the economic of the area will be brought up.

The site is about 30 mins from the US/ Mexico border. It is surrounded by two existing highways, and few new roads are under construction. Most of the land are use as farm land. There power line and sewage pipes are under construction as well. There is some area of the site that has good wind which can be use as wind farm. -11-

This site currently a Hispanic dominant residential area. There are lots of junk yards and small factories which produce lots of pollution. And the roads are lack of maintain you can barely see people walking on the street. There is also lack of green space that the area has very low rate for people access to green space. There are few schools, and the area has very high rate of teenager.

Master Plan The idea for this master plan is to provide more green space and walkable street with trees. The trees can not only provide shades for more walkable streets, but also help clean the pollution, and can make benefit from CAP&TRADE.. Also use a lot of solar panel for green energy, which can also make benefit from CAP&TRADE. The first step is to improve all the main streets that along the schools, so that children can walk to school safer and more comfortable. I also did study areas of a trolley station and a school as an example to see the difference between before and after.
