STAG: The Illicit Origins of Pornographic Film EXHIBITON/SET DESIGN, BUILT MUSEUM OF SEX 2019
From the early 1900s until the late 1960s, pornographic films were predominantly short, black-and-white, and anonymously produced—known as ‘stags.’ This exhibition brings this piece of history to the public.

THE WALL INSTALLATION/STRUCTURE, BUILT TEMPORARY(8 MONTHS) RISD BAYARD EXING BUILDING PARKING LOT 2016
Located at the parking lot of RISD Architecture Department building, an 8-ft-tall, renovated timber structural wall was constructed by a group of three girls in one day.
The fast assembly on site resulted from the prefabrication and the preassembly brought by the nature of the design.
The structure survived all kinds of weather conditions including the blizzard in 2017 and remained sturdy and polished in the 8-month duration.

JOIN<t> PUBLIC FURNITURE, UNBUILT SOCRATE SCULPTURE PARK 2017
JOIN<t> proposed a public installation comprised of clusters of polyhedral seating units that blossoms in the Socrates Sculpture Park. It provides more than 30 public seatings and allows various combinations according to different programs in the park. JOIN<t> performs a flourishing vitality and poses a welcoming gesture that encourages people joining every phase of the project. First is to join the CNC milled plywood members together with pre-fabricated joints to erect the folly. Secondly, it takes two volunteers to put one pre-fabricated seating unit in place on site. Then, the accomplished fun form attracts people to come closer to observe, sit down, join each other and start a conversation.
On the left, the mesh is densely woven to support 1-2 adults; on the right, a piece of plywood panel is added as the seat surface.
A seating unit is a self-standing structural module that can function and multiply in both horizontal and vertical directions. One individual unit consists of a wood frame with a mesh stretch over, secured with staples or ties.

All disassembled structures can fit into a compact space.
Ring Wall creates a wall: an inhabitable wall that includes rather than keep out. The structures and membranes provide the essential enclosure and backdrop for theatrical activities. They also function as interactive surfaces for public seatings and outdoor exhibitions.

The 918,785 Instagram posts with the tag “FJORD” and the 95,762 Instagram posts with the tag “FjordOfNorway” share gorgeous but similar sceneries. Creating a parabolic space with a 6’x 6’ square footprint, we tag an iconic pin on the cliff along the fjord, rather than dropping a leaf in the forest.
