know the way “Suddenly a mist fell from my eyes and I knew the way I had to take.” - Edvard Grieg I love those first few weeks into the beginning of spring. The nights are still cool and a heaviness lingers in the sky. But, just on the edge of the horizon is a bright sun eager to make its grand entrance. Tulip and crocus leaves poke their little noses out of the ground and there’s a scent on the air that just captivates; one of rich dirt being pushed about to release new growth to the world. It’s mystical and exciting, yet ... soft and encouraging. It’s a wealth of motion and movement tied intimately to discovery and delight. And it all flows naturally,
as if the flowers and sun already know the way. Naturally, I couldn’t help but to think of lace. Yarn overs sprinkle across the fabric as if a flower finding the sun. In this collection, we’ve hopefully captured that movement and excitement without the overwhelm. Two garments and two accessories bring about ample opportunity to play with eyelets and decreases, helping you to discover the joys of openwork and texture. It is our hope that each design brings you a little stitch closer to discovery and growth, just like those crocus noses looking to open their blooms. Happy knitting, dear friends. #sweetgeorgiayarns

our yarns Passionate. Relentless. Unapologetic Colour. There is something impossibly alluring about hand-dyed yarns. Everything from vibrancy to the subtle nuances in shade and hue. We develop and source the kinds of yarns we love to knit, weave, and play with. Yarns that begin with fine wools, blended with silk or decadently soft cashmere and kid mohair. Yarns that are beautifully spun and plied for strength and longevity. We believe in creating yarns that will become the foundation for fabrics, garments, and gifts that will endure. Below are the yarns used in this collection:

// NEW FOR SPRING + SUMMER
The subtle shades of summer are as dreamy as the golden sands under a late afternoon sky. We’ve paired sundrenched yellows with richly tonal lavender, pink, and seashore blue for a palette that is softly compelling. Subtly decadent. Bright and warm. The colours, evoking the essence of beachy vacations, positively shimmer between the stitches, giving depth and drama to every pattern. These colourways are seasonal and available until end of February 2021.
