Felipe De Francisco Wiesner

recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Los Andes University, the top architecture school in Colombia, and the third in Latin America according to the Times Higher Education classification from London. Achieving top marks, 4,25/5,00, I helped develop and strengthen the Architecture Student Council, gaining increased participation by the students in the Faculty and becoming a teaching fellow for Urbanism during 4 periods. Additionally, I achieved an internship with Astudio a RIBA architecture firm, directed by Richar Hyams, a highly experienced architect leading teams in Aedas and Foster & Partners. As an intern I participated in the Wigan Town Center Competition, which we won. This was an amazing experience that allowed me to sharpen my Architectural Competition and designing skills. Currently, I’m working for Contein in the renovation of Bogota’s prime soccer stadium for FIFA U-20 World Cup 2011, the product of an architectural contest.
