Fall Events and Things to Do

Fall has arrived… Well sort of.

If you live in Palm Beach County you know that isn’t always the case and it still feels like beach weather here. Maybe you are a transplant from up north and miss apple picking and pumpkin patches. (There is no apple picking here… or fall leaves). Maybe you just really like pumpkin spice coffee and want to feel those fall vibes!

Don’t break out the sweaters and boots just yet!

However, here are some fun events and things to do with the kids during “Fall” in Florida.

Behold Fall and Halloween Fun at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

Don’t go through any toil and trouble searching for fall and Halloween fun this October. Throughout the month, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium (SFSCA) will be hosting highly-anticipated events for the season, including Fall Family Fun Fest and Spooky Laser Lights and Bites. The Family Fun Fest returns on Saturday, October 9 in partnership with PNC Grow Up Great Foundation, and Spooky Laser Lights and Bites will be held on Friday, October 29.

Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., guests of all ages are invited to fall in love with science at SFSCA’s Family Fun Fest, featuring fall-themed crafts, live science demonstrations and outdoor entertainment. The entire group can also pick up a club for mini-golf, visit the onsite petting zoo and much more! Visitors are encouraged to explore SFSCA’s Dinosaur Revolution exhibit where little ones can participate in reptilian role-play activities or journey through three Mesozoic missions spanning 150 million years. Food provided by Nuts About Sugar will also be available for purchase.
