Saturdays from 9:45 a.m. – 12 p.m. Kids Fishing Program

at Loggerhead Marinelife

Center Participants will learn basic techniques for fishing from a fishing pier including knot tying, casting, fish handling, and proper

catch-and-release techniques. In addition to fishing skills, participants will learn to be ethical anglers and discover how to reduce their impact on marine life including sea turtles and shorebirds! Fish caught during this program will always be released. All fishing equipment and bait are provided, please see details during registration for recommended items to bring. Discovery Series at Sandoway Center

Weekly series of discovery, geared for families with children ages 3-6 years old. October 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 9:30 AM or 10:15 AM. RSVP required to attend. The Nutcracker. The Nutcraker is a family favorite and the coming-of-age story of Marie who receives a mysterious gift on Christmas Eve. Adventures ensue as Tchaikovsky’s score draws Marie into a terrifying battle with the Mouse King, through a mystical snowstorm, and to the Enchanted Kingdom.
