LifeCenter Organ Donor Network is a non-profit organization that champions the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation. Their mission is to save, heal, and change lives through donations while honoring those who gave. LifeCenter asked fenbury to develop a campaign designed to help increase trust and organ donation rates among people of color. Compared to other communities, people of color report a higher mistrust of equity in the donation system, less enthusiasm about donation, lack awareness of the need for transplantable organs, and greater general wariness of the healthcare system.
In response, fenbury launched the Powerful Truths campaign, which is aimed toward people of color and younger generations. It acknowledges the disparities and gaps in health care for people of color while simultaneously debunking misperceptions surrounding organ, eye and tissue donation. As a result, LifeCenter collaborated with UC Health’s top transplant doctors—who are also people of color—to champion the powerful truths about donation. The campaign has identified key groups within the donation community including leaders, heroes, seekers and champions, and enlisted recognized advocates of the cause to help drive the message and rebuild trust.

fenbury collaborated with L’Oréal Professionnel Products Division to elevate and empower this family of brands through refreshed creativity and strategy. The division aimed to boost their brands artistic expression: L’Oréal Partnership Advantage, LEVEL Loyalty Rewards program, and L’Oréal ACCESS. We wanted to amplify all PPD brands to create inclusivity and loyalty among brands, fostering trust and engagement to retain existing customers and attract new ones.

Primary Health Solutions’ mission is to provide accessible health care to low-income families; a majority of patients live below the federal poverty guidelines. They o er integrated health care: primary care, women’s health, mental health, vision and dental practices, as well as pharmacies and school-based health centers.
Together with their team, fenbury crafted brand strategy and expression that addresses not just the broad spectrum of health care o ered but—more importantly—why they o er it. The result has been a refreshed brand that unifies o erings and fosters an approachable, caring environment for patients. Within one year of launching the new brand, Primary Health Solutions estimated that 140,000 patients accessed the company’s health care o erings, showing they are a known destination for accessible health care.

Team Up to Fight Cancer
The James at Ohio State is a cancer treatment and research center located in Columbus, Ohio. Our initiative started with expanding their footprint regionally, and then developed into building a national reputation. The James tasked us with presenting innovative ideas to build national recognition. We curated a sponsorship and joined forces with Major League Baseball to be the first ever O cial Cancer Center of Major League Baseball. The collaboration with The James was a sponsorship aimed at educating fans across the United States on cancer awareness, prevention, detection and treatment.
The campaign spanned numerous platforms to spread awareness about the groundbreaking cancer research and the individualized, compassionate care delivered at The James. This included a personalized endorsement from three-time All Star Mike Moustakas, whose mother lost her fight against cancer. To launch the partnership, The James became the presenting sponsor of “MLB Comebacks,” a must-see 360-degree highlight franchise that spotlighted the league’s come-from-behind wins throughout the season. The “MLB Comeback” theme dovetails with the idea that, thanks to modern advances in research and treatment, an individual’s cancer journey can have a happy ending, even if the odds aren’t encouraging at the outset.

When approached by CancerBridge, an ally of The James at Ohio State and a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, we knew we needed to elevate and amplify their complete package of cancer benefits o ered to employers nationwide. These alliances work together to share insights, innovations, and new technologies available to employees and their families. By integrating CancerBridge into a company’s existing benefits package, employers can really show their employees that they genuinely care about their health and well-being.
CancerBridge believes cancer is di erent for everybody. Delivering world-renowned cancer support with a concierge-style approach, people are given the confidence to learn, understand and advocate for themselves and their families. We built a visual identity and turned it into a brand that inspires hope, expertise, and support. To help launch the brand to new employers and build awareness of the services to existing clients, we launched bi-lingual direct mail pieces, posters, brochures, welcome letters, promotional items, letterhead, business cards, infographics and more. As a result, CancerBridge has been added to some of our region’s largest employers, providing their employees with direct access to oncology experts and resources.

Waterson Garner came to fenbury with the desire to revamp their image and develop a business strategy to help bring more meaning to their work. Northside Distilling Co. is downtown Cincinnati’s first distillery brand since Prohibition. When it approached fenbury to help strategize and reinvigorate its company’s brand, we said, “Cheers!” E orts are focused on capitalizing on NDCo.’s meaningful relationships and influential community partners. fenbury is designing barrels, bottles, social media, and crafting strategic relationships to build awareness of the company’s di erent brands. The two immediate goals are to drive demand by customers so they will ask specifically for NDCo. products, and to increase all NDCo. o erings in the best bars and restaurants in the region.

Celebrating Life
Donate Life Month in April
LifeCenter Organ Donor Network teamed up with Busken Bakery to ‘Bake the World a Better Place’! In honor of Donate Life Month, we built a connection with Cincinnati’s most iconic bakery brand, Busken Bakery, to champion the mission of saving, healing and enhancing lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Donate Life Month is celebrated nationally each year and we partnered with Busken to, not only create a custom ‘Donate Life’ cookie, but to deck out Busken’s nine locations with co-branded signage, merchandise, and giveaways. All Busken employees wore co-branded hats, t-shirts, aprons, and pins, and we gave away free stickers and bracelets to all patrons in celebration of Donate Life month. For every Donate Life cookie purchased, Busken donated a Donate Life cookie to a local transplant healthcare hero. The results were amazing with 4,000 cookies being donated to our healthcare heros… the most cookies Busken has ever donated through a strategic community partnership!
Another initiative for Donate Life Month was to collaborate with FC Cincinnati, embodying the spirit and sense of community synonymous with soccer. The campaign “The Power of YES” culminated with a rally-flag moment when more than 20,000 fans, players, managers, and other on-field personnel stood for a moment of silence to support a loved one a ected by donation. We hosted a pre-game and half-time ceremony honoring local transplant physicians and a special donor family.
