Dragon Shape In Phosphate Fertilizer Mining Waste 2009
Concept & Inspiration
Fertilizer Mining Waste 2009
Hummingbird
The inspiration comes from the sea pollution on the Earth. In 2012, There was a exhibition called "Wonderland: New Contemporary Art From Australia" in Taiwan MOCA Museum. In the exhibition that really let me aware of the pollutions that human done to the Earth. The artist J. Henry Fair, "Industrial Scars" impressed me with the picture in aerial view of the Earth landscape. It is irony that all the beautiful pictures are with strange color and the reason behind turns out these color are caused by the the fetilizer pollution. The fertilizer pollution caused a lot of problem. The river connecting to oceans that might hurt the enviroment but also the different species in the world.
