capitaltheatres.com

Welcome to Capital Theatres’ April 2024 brochure. I am thrilled to share this extraordinary season of new shows on sale, from blockbuster musicals to classic drama, podcast favourites and magical productions for families. Dance fans are in for a real treat this year, with Scottish Ballet’s stunning Swan Lake returning in May, Matthew Bourne’s inventive take on Edward Scissorhands following soon after and the return of Rambert’s Peaky Blinders in October. Our younger audience members will be delighted by Northern Ballet’s Tortoise & the Hare – the perfect introduction to classical music and dance – and of course the Australian sensation Bluey’s Big Play. The Gift, our enchanting and awardwinning co-production with Barrowland Ballet also makes a very welcome return to The Studio over the festive season. Other highlights include a magical adaptation of Yann Martel’s novel

What will you see next? Welcome
