WELCOME centrED provides exciting and comprehensive experiences for teachers and students to engage with and access performance and visual arts, combined with cross-curriculum learning in South Australia’s premier performing arts centre. centrED’s annual program is designed in consultation with teachers’ learning programs, focusing on the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ of quality teaching and learning program delivery. These unique resources are linked to the Australian Curriculum (AC), Teaching for Effective Learning (TfEL) and the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). The centrED program will inspire creativity, enquiry and deepen cultural understanding, which in turn will foster a lifelong passion for learning and the arts all emanating from Adelaide Festival Centre. The five general AC capabilities are embedded into each centrED program, to support teacher’s curriculum delivery of each learning area. The centrED e-Newsletter is emailed quarterly to update and inform teachers of new learning opportunities presented throughout the year. To sign up visit adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au/sign-up-teachers I look forward to welcoming teachers and students to the centrED Learning Program at Adelaide Festival Centre in 2015!
