Editor´s Note A new year starts and we start it with culture, but “Sport Culture”. That is the way and even though many people would swear that sport cannot go hand to wand with other cultural manifestations, in “México Intercultural” we do not agree and we are going to prove it. We have made a great effort to acquire sport editorial quality and to show Mexico that the world what the fraternity between activities can do. We feel proud of the results and we hope that you find it as good as we expect it, we have a wide variety of disciplines that could give you a new glance and transform your concept about sport activities. And in order to be able to finally go to the activity that concerns us in this number, we only want to thank every single one of the participants in this edition, because without them, we could not attain the score on our side. Archery Archery is nowadays a practiced sport in which a bow is used to fire arrows over targets located in different distances. To practice this sport, there are several kinds of bows; the long bow, the traditional recurved bow, Olympic recurved and the pulley-compound bow.
sories are added to the bow, which give the archer a better quality and precision in his shot. The best known pulley bow brands are Hoyt, PSE, Mathews and Bowtech.
In this occasion we will talk about two of them. The recurved bow, also called Olympic recurved, is the only kind of bow used in Olympic Games. Its mechanics are similar to that of the traditional bow. Its main feature is the double curvature in its branches, shaped as an “S, which increases the strength of the bow and smoothen the shot. Several additions can be made to increase its stability and precision, like the addition of visors (elements to aim).
The bows are very personal items that must be adjusted to the needs and characteristics of the bowman, an accurate adjustment can give the archer the possibility of being very precise in his shots. Every additional accessory and the kind of arrows that are used must be chosen very carefully to be appropriate and to give the archer the best possibilities, they must also be selected depending on the modality they will use to shot, since there are bows, arrows and scopes for the different modalities and a wrong election can represent a useless expenditure with very bad results.
The pulley bow is designed to reduce the strength that the archer must apply in the moment he has to spread the bow with his back (scapula). At the end of the opening, because of the pulley system, the potency is reduced, which allows him to maintain it tightened and to aim during a larger period with less effort. This characteristic allows to use high power bows for contests and hunting. To achieve a better performance a set of acces-
There are different modalities of contest among archery, the best known ones are: FITA, which consists of shooting arrows at long distance targets, located at regulated distances, which can be 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 90 meters, depending on the age of the contestant and the kind of bow used; in this modality, recurved Olympic bows and pulley bows can be used. These contests take place in an open field, exposed to incle-
ment weather, which makes them very irregular. Another modality is the INDOOR, which consists of shooting arrows at targets located at 9 meters from the archer for kids and 18 meters for young and adult people inside a closed ground, where conditions are always the same, which means the weather change does not affect it, making it a very competitive event because the shot must be very precise. In this modality, recurved bows and compound bows can also be used. Finally we will mention the 3D, which is a little known modality, yet very attractive. It consists of shooting arrows to figures representing animals, which are located at long, unknown distances. Because it is practiced outdoors in different natural environments, which can be woods or arid
mounts, and facing different flora and weather conditions, it gives archers a very interesting challenge due to the fatigue of walking in an uneven terrain. The archery sports has been getting a wider diffusion little by little. It has been consolidated as one of the main sports in Mexico, gathering several medals and first place awards in World-Class Events, Pre-Olympic Tournaments, World Championships and the London Games in 2012, among others. People can start practicing archery at any age. It is both for men and women and in our country you can participate in a great quantity of state and national tournaments organized throughout the year.

Nike or the Winged Victory in Hockey on the Ice
In the beginning of times, Hades, lord of the un-
derworld remained so enthralled to the goddess Nike, that he dragged her to his domains. When he knew of this, Zeus, lord of the Skies organized an assault to recover his goddess. To avoid the confrontation, Hades proposed a trail: If any of the gods managed to introduce a golden disc to the underworld crossing the Acheron River and avoiding its guardian Cerberus, he would give Nike back. However, he froze the river
to avoid Poseidon cheating on the guardian taking the disc underwater, and he located five fearful Titans over the ice, liberated from Tartarus. The first one to try was Zeus. As the frozen waters were too slippery, he brandished his ray from the opposite coast to throw the disc. Unfortunately, the distance and the titans impeded its entrance. To avoid the problem of the ice, Hermes, messenger of the gods tied some blades to his sandals, forged by Hephaestus. Using his speed, he mana-
ged to approach the umbral of the underworld. Nevertheless, his agility was not enough to dodge every titan, ending up beaten. Then the turn came to Poseidon, who wearing Hermes’ blades with great strength made his way through the titans, violently throwing his disc with his trident. Even though the power of the impact cut through the cosmos, the immense mass of Cerberus stopped it. The smartest of the gods, Athena, realized that more than strength and speed were necessary. With her helmet and spear and using the blades, she managed to enter the ice avoiding the titans, privileging precision over strength, she threw the disc between Cerberus’ paws, managing the dog’s heads to hinder one another trying to stop it. Beaten, Hades kept his promise. In recognition to the combination of her strength, velocity and wisdom, Zeus ordered that in the statues created in her honor, Athena would be represented holding Nike in her hand. Nike is, by the way, the goddess of Victory. Hockey in Real Life If Greece was situated to the north of Europe, something similar would probably have been the legend of the origin of hockey on ice. However, the real origin goes back to 1875 in Montreal, Canada, where the first organized game took place. Almost a century and a half after that, it is the official sport from Canada, Practiced only in amateur leagues of North America by over one million players, with 5 major professional leagues around the world – some even in multiple countries, like the Kontinental Hockey League in Eurasia- and several minor ones. The objective is simple: 2 teams of six players try to introduce a rubber disc (puck) in the opposite goal, using “J” shaped canes (sticks). The game
takes place over a frozen field (rink), therefore they use skates with blades. Due to the strength of the shots and to the nature of the ice, a helmet and special protectors must be worn, especially by the goal keepers. While the sport is known to be strong, it is actually severely penalized in every category, leaving a colorful but controlled version to the professional leagues. The major strength movement allowed is the “body checking”, which consists of pushing the rival in possession of the puck with the shoulder or the hip, to try to take it from him. This movement is even reserved exclusively to male categories above 13 years old. Strength, skating speed, shooting technique, skill when moving the puck and great reflexes are the physical abilities required to be a hockey player. Intelligence, courage and determination are what differentiate the great players. Solidarity, empathy and companionship are the abilities developed when one is part of a team. Hockey in Mexico In Mexico there are about 2,000 registered players in the Hockey on Ice Mexican Sport Federation. In 2015, our country was host to the 3rd division global championship, where it acquired the first place. In Queretaro there are two Icedome group fields, being “Club Mapaches” one of the main protagonists nationally with students between 4 and 30 years old. Epilogue One day, a new entry female player expressed: “You don’t know how the wind feels on the face when you are over the ice at maximum speed”. Maybe some titans know it. Or maybe they are gods.

swimming Drowsy I opened my eyes with the warm caress of the first sun rays, I jumped out of the bed at the same time I was being delighted by the song of a bird laying in the cornice of the window from my chamber. I saw my watch, in a hurry and with enthusiasm I slid the clothing over my body, already fully awaken; I was running down the stairs when all of a sudden a hand abruptly stopped me: It was my mother with her smiling glance, but not because of this with less authority. She always took care of giving order to my hasty walking… even up to now. Everything was ready! Laly asked: “Is the sound good enough?” – We all attended her precise instructions with great attention. -She is one of the pioneers of synchronized swimming in Mexico and during that time she was also the trainer of the National Team. The echo of the rhythmical counting from 1 to 8 could be heard with her emphasis, deliberately highlighted by her mastery in the knowledge of music and love for this sport. The human being has always been inspired by its imagination; the sirens, the dancing, the crystal-clear water… it is magnificent and fantastic. + At the beginning it was known as aquatic ballet. In 1907, the Australian Anette Kellerman was the first aquatic dancer that became famous acting in a glass pool in New York.
During the twenties in Canada, some water polo trainers and the diver Margaret Sellers, along with a group of women developed what they called ornamental swimming and their main objective was to create swimming and rescue techniques. Synchronized swimming became more popular when Esther Williams interpreted aquatic musicals in 40s and 50 Hollywood. -Come and take breakfast before you go trainingMy mother, like my father had documented themselves well about a sportsman’s alimentation; they, as many parents supported us in everything they could and knew that alimentation is primary and part of the discipline. In 1955, Mexico officially participated in its first Pan-American Sports Games Contest, developed in Mexico City, where 3 great pillars of Synchronized Swimming were born: Guillermina Oteiza, Cristina Villicaña and of course, her, my energetic trainer; Eulalia Martínez de Castro, best known as Laly. Directly under the sunlight, she would not stop correcting us, giving her whole attention despite several distractions, she always kept the vanguard in innovation, thanks to that passions aside from being the National Trainer; in 2008 she became member of the National Synchronized Swimming Technique Commission and the Director of the Mexican Judges Commission. All of us swimmers inherited that enthusiasm and love for this sport that combines different sport and artistic activi-
ties, such as: Swimming, ballet, flexibility, body expression, musical education, flexibility, acrobatics and strength.
Teamwork is especially important and it is something that as a woman I find necessary to highlight in our country filled with very valuable people.
One can integrate: -Sport and art –height and stability- flexibility and body control. And to achieve this, the trainees of the S.S. must develop: -Physical abilities, tactic and psychological techniques, coordination, a sense of rhythm, kinesthesis, fluidity, equilibrium, corporal conscience and control, extension among others. Also coordinative capacities, capacity of integration, orientation, capacity of adaption to change and reaction, besides strength, resistance and speed.
I love Mexico, it is my country and I know how beautiful it is to see our flag waving in foreign countries when we triumph, I have felt happy to the tears when I realize what we could do together as a country with love, cooperation, honesty and work. If we all could put our heart in the heart of our life and of those around us, our country would shine with less effort, much more than it shines today.
Benefits of Synchronized Swimming: -It enhaces corporal strength -It eliminates tension -It tones muscles -It enhances agility -It enhances resistance -It enhances coordination -It enhances flexibility -It enhances circulation -It enhances the respiratory system
Nowadays, in the last Olympics that took place in Rio, Nura Diosdado and Karem Achach took Mexico to the Olympic finals in Synchronized Swimming. A great joy for the aquatic family in Mexico. Tenacity, honesty, work and a lot of discipline that Mexican women have the capacity to achieve. Go on, Mexico! In every ambit from the chores of the inhabitants of this beautiful country.

The ideal body you were born with
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Eleanor Roosevelt The way in which the passion for what is loved can be presented to you is curious, no matter the age. A baby crying can manifest singing abilities, a doodled wall exposes the future Pablo Picasso or even a boy that invents the most extraordinary, incredible and dramatic excuse to avoid being scolded could manifest the upcoming Nobel Prize for literature. I am full of energy and joy because five years ago I took the decision of attacking the problem of the poor professionalization of the art of dancing in Mexico. The maximum recommended age for people who practice dancing is 30 years; most people after that dedicate their lives to teach. In my case, it is not like that. I am 23 years old and after certain experiences, I decided to be part of the solution at an earlier point. To create an academy dedicated to this activity has not been easy, but say, what dream that is worth achieving is easy? To be ready for the classes, during the morning I go to the academy two or three hours, like that, I have enough time to fix the place, to clean it up, to check on things I still have to do and to do some personal training. A simple but effective routine. The body must be prepared for an activity as demanding as that of sports. Perhaps right now I am not fully dedicated to be a dancer, but one of the many values that dancing has taught me is to be consistent and respectful with what one loves.
I started to practice when I was seven years old. Today, after so many years I can say that when I wear my shoes every day, the same effect, the same emotion, the sensation of beauty, the nervousness and all that feelings come back to my body and that is what I want to transmit to the little ones. Besides, it is also necessary to eliminate all surrounding prejudices. There is no feet deformation, it is not just a hobby, it is not a sport or activity exclusive to women. A man will be no less man for practicing it. But on the contrary, it demands mental, physical and spiritual strength. “It does not matter how small you are, when you are on stage, you are huge. While I take an important member of our audience back to his place (ToĂąo, a furry black stuffed bear that we sit on little benches as part of our crowd to make the little ones get used to the people when they are on a play), I remember every difficulties we face, the little trust, skepticism and abandonment. It is very sad to realize that talent is wasted because of the lack of compromise, mainly by the parents. My parents have always been the major support, the ones who have believed in me the most, and whoever it is, I wish you a mother or a father half as compromised as my parents are with me. They have respected my teacher, they have supported when it has been necessary and they know that if they take me to a professional, it is to learn, we are not the experts. One must always be humble and the results conjugated with persistence and dedication will give results. I observe fluffy ToĂąo and his smile tells me I am right.
One on one, the little ones from the first group arrive. They are excited because “Peter and the Wolf” will be presented, everyone has an important role in the play. The dedication is huge because almost six months are dedicated to its preparation. The self-esteem and joy are at its maximum.
It is important to know that no matter the activity, one must be completely dedicated to it, one must have the necessary compromise, be punctual, strive, concentrate, and have a maximum discipline, values given by that constant effort of the dreams to achieve.
They are all beautiful and different, that is also wonderful in dancing and one important lesson I have learned along this extraordinary journey. “The ideal body, no matter what people say, does not exist!” Every person is capable: the age does not matter, but the mentality and attitude; the human body is so smart that it makes itself adequate to the activity. A person focused with love, passion and humility will find the talent inside the perseverance. It is not necessary to have a European nationality to be able to be a great ballerina. “Princesses”, the art of creating strong and independent spirited princesses, girls, teenagers and women capable of creating literature, choreography, magic, music, representation, strength, design, education and to feel extremely capable of achieving everything they want.
I Close my eyes and visualize the presentation. Our new way of expressing ourselves and showing feelings contained inside of us, the pure love to our families and friends, the smile of the mornings, the loneliness, the doubt, the satisfaction, the anger, the joy, the happiness and the future.

One heart in football times Some believe that football is a matter of life or death. But it is more important than that. Bill Shankly Each person has its own way of seeing football: while some just love it, others hate it and some crazy ones say it is indifferent – they sure lie. But something undeniable is that one way or another it has changed the life or people throughout this magnificent planet called earth.
There is a legend where it is told that it is a sport that magnifies the human turning it immortal, even gods. 3400 million years ago, in Mexico, the Mesoamericans used to play the first sport in junction with a rubber ball that represented the sun and the field (very similar to the ones today), the universe. These games were very competitive and when there was a winner, the achieved glory was as important as life itself; the last phrase, I mention it literally, the captain of the loser team was sacrificed.
Let us now travel to Asia, in the year 136 B.C. The poet created this beautiful poem: The ball is round and the field is squared as the sky and earth, the ball flies above us like the sun. While the two teams face each other. Seas of distance and there are still vestiges of such wonderful creation. How? Who? What for? Why? Our dear Roman friends had a curious game called haspartum that in fact was used by the great generals to train stragegy. It was a matter of stealing a ball and so organized that it originated the astati, belifi, principi and triani lines (attack, middle field, defense, goal keeper). It is not strange that the epic side of the game was inherited, because little wars with astonishing endings took place. It would be interesting to rise a sandstorm in the unassailable battle where it all started, but instead of that let us remember the history about the little town in Britain: Kirwall, there, a longing and scary tradition takes place, in which a ball is thrown in the central plaza of the town, and men divided in two groups, northern and southern fight to get that ball to the other side of the field. In case that southern men win –whose side is next to the seaa good fishing is foreseen; on the other hand, if the northern men win –where the farming fields are- it means that there will be a good harvest. It seems like a great tradition, right? But sadly we know how it all started. A tyrant called Tuskar that ruled oppressing and intimidating his people was so radical that one day
people planned to reveal against him. When he heard about the rebellion, he fled from his small town towards Scotland, however, a social leader knew that it was necessary to definitely beat him or he could get back and take revenge. Once he was found, they fought and after the combat, the hero cut the head of his opponent, then tied it to his horse and approached the little town. Unluckily, during the trip, the teeth of the head harmed one of his legs provoking him a mortal infection. With his last breath, the hero arrived to the “Mercat” plaza of Magnus cathedral and there he threw the head to the town, dying minutes after, which enraged the mob that kicked Tuskar’s head in order to satisfy their rage. It is incredible that something such as a game for low-class people would have the importance it has today. It ceased being forbidden for causing deaths, destruction and several other illegal activities to be a modus vivendi capable of accessing the masses to a social order. What we undoubtedly know is that the author of this sport was a visionary, a creator, a character that can only be known in dreams. He has earned his place among the biggest characters of history and he has been entitled the biggest honors. Remembered as a faceless and nameless legend, but known by everyone because he has not stopped to travel around the world, enriching us with the talent and the effort of his pupils; so kind and humble that he has preferred to take the path of the ancient heroes and artists, signing his opus with the anonymous name, so that everyone can make his creation a part of him. Thank you, inventor of the most beautiful sport!
that imaginary friend My relationship with Rocky Balboa goes a long way back, I grew up with him on the VHS, I know his fights by heart and I can faithfully repeat every single dialogue from the Philadelphia stud. Rocky is my imaginary friend as much as he is to Sylvester Stallone; therefore the dog of a friend is called Apollo, therefore I would like to practice box, that is why I stand up when I am thrown to the ground. If Rocky taught me something, it is that life is not about winning, but fighting it. I always felt bad for Rocky, his father told him that he was not smart and thus he had to box. He fights because he can neither sing, nor dance. Someone told me that Rocky was great because he beat communism in Rocky IV, I think he is great because he never gives up. Balboa is one of the titles that hurts me the most, Rocky is alone, his son does not talk to him, his
woman died, his Friends walked away and what is only left to him is to be the fan of his own story, to tell it to whoever wants to listen to it in the restaurant that is named after the love of his life. I never thought that I would see Rocky again after Balboa, but today I watched Creed and it knocked me out. Let us talk about reviving a saga with talent. Let us talk about watching a movie with a lump in the throat. Let us talk about Creed. Everything is where it has to be, the camera, the characters, the punches and the heart. Adonis runs, and you see Apollo in his face, you can try to resist, but you already are against the ropes, in a moment, the eye closed, the son turns into his father and you know that Rocky Balboa will never again be alone. Long life to Rocky, a huge applause for Creed.

Hydration The body is our presentation card, and the state it currently has could affect or benefit social and working life. To take care of it regularly will have repercussions in its appearance and health. It is vital for our body to be maintained hydrated and to recover liquids that we lose in biological processes. The sweat is a way of losing water to equilibrate the body temperature and if the loss is too important, the body will dehydrate causing a low physical performance, health problems and early aging. When we get dehydrated, we don’t only lose liquids. Therefore, the hydric reposition will consist on recovering water, salt, electrolytes (chlorine, sodium, potassium and calcium), vitamins and glucose (it significantly enhances the absorption of fluids.
When we talk about a sportsman´s hydration, we have to consider: How long the test will take, the intensity it has, climate conditions, age, sweating, urine, etc. In low-intensity and minor performance activities, a hypotonic beverage is recommended, since the loss of liquid and electrolytes is minimal and no carbohydrates must be given. An adequate hypotonic beverage is the water. In long lasting activities (over 1 hour) and with a bigger performance, it is recommended to drink an isotonic beverage, because it hydrates and recharges energy. We can prepare our own beverage, in 1 liter of water, we mix two or three lemons, half a spoon of bicarbonate, half a spoon of salt and three spoons of sugar. Our health is our treasure and we must take care of it.

Functional training
as a basis of your life I have been a personal trainer for 25 years, during years I looked for a training format that could help my students to achieve the diverse objectives and goals they ask for: lose weight, tone, increase muscle mass, develop articular mobility, help in rehabilitation of an injury or ailment, or simply an integral conditioning that generates an accurate health. Therefore, trying every possible variant of trainings was primordial. If my goal was to acquire the best results, I would have to combine different techniques of fitness training, as well as trainings in weight lifting or even to combine sport activities. Thanks to all that, I obtained a more balanced training. However, the results were quite scarce or too slow. To accelerate the results, I had to recommend my students to consume special products: Some to lose weight, others to increase volume, etc. Due to the immense variety of products of this kind in the market, I gave myself the chore of looking for references, but no one would guarantee that the results were among the necessary health ranks, or as it is common, I had to make them go through strict diets that would drastically change their routines and alimentary habits. Fortunately, on 2012 I met the functional training done by athletes, elite sportsmen and some famous people. The obtained results called my attention: A considerable development in the cardiac resistance, an increased strength, but above all, muscular resistance, better precision and corporal control in high-speed movement and specially a change in natural movements that would enhance the posture and avoid injuries, a bigger vigor for everyday activities and a better control of the energy loss in high effort activities, and also as a plus, a rehabilitation of complicate injuries, like arthrosis or low back pain and a quick answer to the loss of corporal weight.
I have trained over 200 people, and to most of them the weight loss result has been almost immediate during the first 4 weeks: The change is evident! But in 4 months it is surprising, and most of the times without provoking the radical change in alimentary habits. Many personal trainers or physical developers now recommend that, and while there are many exercises that used to be taken as contraindicated, those are now the base of exercise programs, but with a scientific explanation of why they are recommended and not avoided for simple suppositions. By definition, the “functional training means to train with a purpose. In other words, it must have a positive effect in the activity or sport that is practiced. The functional training is to train with a concrete purpose. Every training is designed and focused to achieve objectives. The quantity of variants of the session is determined by the trainer, based on experience, training in multiple areas and training programs, and the knowledge of its scientific bases in every moment is quite adaptable to any kind of person, from people who have developed some training, to athletes and high-skill sportsmen. I call it the life training. People need not only to walk, sit, fall to the floor, carry objects, push objects, etc. we have to do it the right way and with a precise technique that nobody shows us or that is difficult to be taught to us. All of this must be done without the help of machines, only with our simple mobility; it is enough just by seeing the natural way a baby sits and the inefficient way we do it as adults. We train very different and non-natural things, which is harmful, because dancing as a training will not teach me how to move furniture or carry a bucket of water,
as well as going to the weight lifting area, carrying the own body through a wall is very difficult for many people. Functional training must integrate all aspects of human movement, observe kids playing, adults at work and sportsmen during the competition, analyzing each movement, point of support, spin, jump, stop, it is good to program the basic exercises of each session. Everyone should do a functional training. There are many programs in the market and most of them have the three basic variables: The handsfree exercises that we have seen in sports classes, yoga or pilates, formative gymnastics. The
gymnastics part that is fundamental demands the trainer the knowledge of the implemented to develop resistance and muscular strength applying the own corporal weight and the carrying points in which one must develop the adequate technique to move external weights with the simple mobility, without using a machine. Besides this, people can add some water or bicycle exercises, even using machines and weight-lifting machines to have more secure carrying situations; the functional training can be mixed with anything, its results are diverse and most of them very good, but the instructor’s experience it is important in order to develop the program that is most suitable to your needs.

Boxing in Mexico is one of the most followed activities in our country. In this sport we stand out in international levels, like in the Olympic Games and in professional Boxing in the amateur area, where we are considered one of the most outstanding in the world rankings and professionally speaking. This sport is classified according to the weights, therefore we hear in Olympics the participants being classified among the denominations “low-weight”, or better known as fly weight, rooster, feather, light, Walter, and the middle weights, semi complete and complete are the denominations given to the boxers that participate professionally in countries such as the United States.
Maestra María de la Luz Salazar y Salazar from the Universidad Autónoma de México shows us that according to geography and human physics, Mexicans physically have very good conditions for this sport, because of the weather, heights related to sea level and the proof is that this sport is one of the most outstanding in relation to the others. If the competent authorities in terms of sports would support us, it would be great. And it is sad that our medalists and world champions have been forgotten from one day to the other, without having any support or an incentive from our sports authorities. Many of them ended up in misery due to the situation that has prevailed in this sport.
Going back to Boxing in our country, unfortunately, in both amateur and professional areas, we encounter a critical situation even though we should be supported by our authorities in sports areas. To give an example, in public parks: to teach and give orientation for this sport; in the case of professional boxing, since our country has been placed in first place in the previously mentioned posts with the great stars we have had and will keep on having, thanks to several factors; one of them is the location of our country geographically speaki.
My experience was being part of this sport during 25 years of my life teaching the art of Boxing and giving sports classes related to Japan itself (Professional Boxing Commission of Japan).

limits They say that we men are only a puppet of the gods, but somehow we always find the way of creating alternatives to face the challenges that we may encounter. This way –and to put it romantically- the elements have been dominated, that is the greatness of human race, not the destruction, but the creation. The clearest example is synchronized swimming; one of the sports or disciplines considered Olympic that involves the junction of artistic and synchronized forms in an aquatic environment. One must possess abilities and skills in the areas of swimming and gymnastics, and also move in a synchronized way according to the rhythm of the music. There is the magic of “Aquatic Ballet. To fight with the fists, fight for the life, fight to be better, fight for those that matter, fight for a living and for a life. That is the way boxing was born as a competition and as a spectacle. It is so ancient that it is considered one of the founders of the concept of sport. Dancing is the action or way of dancing, which consists on the execution of precise, powerful, spectacular movements with the rhythm of the music. The human being has the natural necessity of self-expression, to show the others all their feelings and emotions. But also the human creations such as the bow and arrow have a history as rich as as tragic. Before it was the beautiful sport of precision, character, attitude and elegance, it was a tool that could save thousands of lives or as well take them away. Today we speak about bow shooting as a sport, an activity with thousands of years of rich antiquity in the history of mankind.
And no matter the extreme environment, it is the creativity of the human being, capable of doing the incredible. Even though the beginnings of hockey on ice, like we know it today took place at the end of the 19th century, it is known that two centuries before something similar was also played in Europe. Turns out that certain sketches have been found, which date from the 17th century in the Netherlands. There, some people (players) can be seen moving something over an icy terrain with very simple and little elaborate skates. It is also known that something similar to hockey on ice was played over the icy lakes in United Kingdom. It does not matter the place, the site or its origin, these activities are important for the social development. The transition of a barbarity or an activity of survival can lead to show great heroes that break the boundaries of the common man, those with extraordinary activities that no matter the sacrifice, they get close to the Olympus gods.
