FH Indonesia's mission is to empower communities to move past differences of region, tribe and faith in order to proactively overcome challenges facing the most vulnerable. Food for the Hungry Indonesia is part of Food for the Hungry an international global relief and development organization that answers God’s call to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in more than 26 countries. In Indonesia, we work in vulnerable communities on the island of Sumatra implementing long-term development programs such as agriculture training, child development, health, nutrition, and economic development.
