Mount Everest is the world’s tallest mountain, standing at a colos sal 8,848 m. It straddles the border between Nepal and Tibet, set in the Himalayan range. This mountain is a brutal force of nature, dis persed with giant ice walls, hidden crevasses, deadly avalanches, and extreme altitudes that will dull your senses. Still, nothing will compare with the feeling of reaching the summit and being on top of the world.
A few brave adventur ers will challenge themselves with the ferocious ascend to the summit, very few at tempt to ski back. With it being double the height of the Matter horn – one of the largest mountains in the Alps,

Skiing down Mount Everest would be the ultimate chal lenge. With the barren conditions commonly found on Everest summit, is it pos sible to descend this mammoth mountain on a pair of skis?
Can you ski on Mount Everest? Technically, it is possible to ski down from the summit of Everest. A few trailblazers have taken on this epic descent and succeeded. Natu rally,
skiing down Mount Everest could not be achieved with out significant difficulties. A Jap anese alpine skier called Yuichiro Miura attempted his descent in 1970. He was fa mously known as ‘the man who skied down Ever est,’ the title of the gripping Os car-winning film documenting his journey on Ever est. A Slovenian ski in structor has become the first person ever to ski nonstop down the steep slopes of Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain, moun taineering au thoritiessaid today.
It took Davo Kar nicar, 38, of Jezersko, Slove nia, five hours on Saturday to ski from Everest’s 29,035-foot summit to its base camp, which is at 17,500 feet. He took only a few breaks and never removed his skis, according to the Nepal Ministry of Tourism.
“It is something that was in my head for a long time,”Karnicar said in an inter view posted on his Web site.(See web links).He said he did it without get ting frostbite.

If you want to ex perience Mount Everest in soli tude, you should come there in fall. The five-member expedition of Polish ski moun taineer Andrzej Bargiel is (at least so far) the only one to which the Nepalese govern ment has granted Everest permits for this season. The 34-year-old wants to climb the highest mountain on earth without bottled oxygen and ski down from the highest point. On his ascent he will be accompa nied by the experienc 54-year-old Janusz Golab, who in 2012 succeeded with his compatri ot Adam Bielecki in the Karakoram in Pakistan in the first winter ascent of the 8,080-me ter-high Gasher brum I. Skiing is the use of skis to glide on snow land. Variations of purpose basic transport, a recreational activity, or a competitive winter sport. This ski board turns out to have different sizes. Each size of the ski board is ad justed to the height and weight of the traveler who uses it. There will be a tech nician to help set up the ski board. Usually the traveler will be asked how much he weighs, then the ski board is set. Getting the ski boots onto the board is pretty easy. At the end of the shoe there is a kind of hook

These ski boots are different from ordinary shoes. These shoes are heavy and stiff, wearing them feels like a cast, unable to move freely. Ski boots will bind the traveler's feet to cover the calves and shins.

Once you get to the top of the hill, only white will be visible as far as the eye can see, and it will dazzle the eyes. Eyes also become sore if you don't wear glasses.
It would be even better if a traveler uses googles which are usually sold in a package with the helmet. You can also use Googles which is sold separately. But if you don't want to spend more money, wear ing regular black sun glasses is also okay.
SKI GLASSES AND HELMET
This helmet is important to protect the traveler from impact when falling on ice. Remember, it is obligatory to wear a helmet before skiing, especially for those of you who are still begin ners. Watch out for the worst that could happen.
Before sliding, wear glass es that have UV protection (polarized). As long as the traveler knows, a layer of white snow is the best ma terial to reflect sunlight.
