Fibro modem

My name is Simone. I am single, live alone & I have fibromyalgia. I was 40 before I heard about fibromyalgia. I have spent 6 yrs working (in the ‘real’ world) & studying (in ‘academia’) to get my law degree. About halfway through my studies, I had (what I call) a major breakdown. I stopped working – I was broken. I was depressed. I had depression. With the help of my family, drugs & counselling - graduation! I was able to ‘practice’ law for 1 whole month before the debilitating purple wave took over my life – FIBROMYALGIA! On Feb 27 of this year, I started my Facebook page. I quickly became addicted & started my Blog, joined Twitter & Pinterest, & started a Fibromyalgia Awareness shop (profits donated). I am lucky enough to have over 3000 Facebook fans (with an average reach of 30000), 160 blog followers & 102 Tweet followers. Every day, between 500 & 1000 people visit my blog. Now, I have started this magazine. I hope to educate fellow sufferers & make others aware of this condition.
