It wasn’t just the Habsburgers who left their mark on Trentino. Churches and castles are examples of the rich history of the region. City tours to Trent, Bolzano or Verona are not just historial highlights, but are also the perfect opportunity for some window shopping. Countless sign-posted hiking and cycling trails guide visitors through nature along streams, past farms and lakes. At Levico lake and the nearby alpine Caldonazza lake, swimmers, rowers, anglers, surfers, divers and sailors can all be encountered – some very ambitious, others just for the fun of it. In the winter, the family-friendly ski slopes, cross-country trails and snow shoe paths attract visitors. Next to the hotel the Christmas market in Levico Terme in the spa gardens is something very magical as well.
Nicht nur die Habsburgermonarchie hat im Trentino ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Kirchen und Schlösser zeugen von vergangenen Zeiten. Städtetouren nach Trient, Bozen oder Verona setzen kulturelle Akzente und bieten nebenbei Gelegenheit zum Schaufensterbummel. Unzählige gekennzeichnete Wander- und Radwege führen an Wasserläufen, Bauernhöfen und Seen entlang durch die freie Natur. Am Lago di Levico und dem nahen Lago di Caldonazzo tummeln sich Schwimmer, Ruderer, Angler, Surfer, Taucher und Segler – manche ambitioniert, die meisten einfach freudig bei der Sache. Im Winter locken in der Nähe familienfreundliche Skipisten, Loipen und Schneeschuhwege. Direkt am Hotel gelegen versprüht der historische Weihnachtsmarkt von Levico Terme im Kurpark einen ganz eigenen Zauber.
