The conference will take place at Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva. From this location, delegates can enjoy convenient conferencing facilities, comfortable guest accommodation and an ideal base from which to explore the many sights Geneva city has to offer.

Closest Airport Geneva International Airport.
For airport transfer, reconfirmation of plane tickets, airline or train schedules, please call the Concierge Desk by dialing 9324 from your room or call the hotel at +41 22 908 93 24.
Taxi The airport taxi rank is located directly in front of the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 1. Fares between the airport and city range from CHF 35 to CHF 45 and depend on traffic density, the time of the day and the number of passengers.
Public transport • The train from Geneva International Airport to the Cornavin train station takes six minutes. • The Hotel is a ten-minute walk from the city s main train station, Gare
Cornavin. • Using buses, the closest stops are Navigation Bus 1, 25 or Mont Blanc Bus 6, 8, 9, 25.
Airport booth FIDIC will have staff available to assist conference attendees at a welcome booth outside the arrivals area at Geneva airport on Saturday 10 September and Sunday 11 September from 09.00 - 18.00 CET.

Free travel cards As part of your hotel stay in Geneva, hotels can issue travel cards free of charge to use public transport. To access this benefit, you will need to ask the reception at the hotel and an electronic travel card will be sent to the email address you provide to them at check in.

FIDIC Welcome reception - Fairmont Grand Hotel, Foyer ABC, 1st Floor The FIDIC Welcome Reception is included for all conference registered participants, and will take place on Sunday 11 September 2022, 7.00 - 10.00 PM.
FIDIC main conference - Fairmont Grand Hotel, Ballroom ABC, 1st Floor The main conference will take place on 12 - 13 September 2022. Please refer further down in the document for the full conference programme and timings.
Exhibition area - Fairmont Grand Hotel, Foyer ABC, 1st Floor The conference exhibition area will be accessible from 08h00 on 12 September until 17h30 on 13 September 2022.
Smoking policy The Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva is a non-smoking venue. Participants are requested to go to the designated smoking area to smoke.
Mobile phones Delegates are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones on silent mode in meeting rooms when conference sessions are in progress.
