a variety of spaces to accommodate 21st-century teaching and learning. This variety allows teachers to match learning activities with the type of space conducive to that.


Net zero and meticulously detailed, the school features a welcoming central heart serving as a connection to two learning community wings while also being ideal for gatherings and performances. Its design inspires and supports the unique qualities of the community and provides an encouraging family environment. The heart connects specialty programs such as STEM and the arts, while learning community wings give students access to additional peers and adults and supports greater autonomy over their own learning. A flexible studio and learning commons in each community considers future growth and nontraditional learning environments. Not only do students have renewed self-worth in a future-ready building that meets the individual needs of all learners, but the school also provides a training ground for educators, acting as a “school within a school.” Several universities and their education departments have offices and classrooms for aspiring educators to observe, train, and collaborate.
