FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MACHINAIMPRESA IN BERLIN TO PRESENT WHAT’S?! COLLECTION Ambiguity according to young Italian creatives through one fashion collection and nine design projects ____________________________________________________________________________

Berlin, October 2011 - MachinaImpresa is a new business model formed by twelve emerging Italian creatives who, on November 4 at Sanatorium23 (Frankfurter Allee 23) in Berlin, will present with the support of Fier Management their latest clothing and product design collection by the name of What’s?! The event will start at 20:00 and will include the presentation of each individual design piece to the German and international press, as well as a welcome cocktail and music of the bel paese. Through What’s?! the concept of ambiguity is expressed and adapted according to the positive values and refreshing aesthetics of this designer collective. By remodelling common sense, stimulating new ways of thinking, and encouraging the analysis of functionality juxtaposed to aesthetics, MachinaImpresa unlock multiple, unique interpretations. The end-user is thus encouraged to explore and interact with each item in an entirely subjective way. What’s?! is a project supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Municipality of Brescia, in collaboration with a wide range of Italian businesses, in an effort to form new sustainable partnership models between institutions, businesses and emerging talent. About MachinaImpresa: MachinaImpresa is a new business model, formed by twelve emerging creative talents, with a strong focus on tangible, strategic innovation and new technologies. Through a 360° approach, this collective is capable of fulfilling any business and creative requirements, thanks to the interaction between marketing, communication, fashion and design. The studio is formed by: Maria Marini e Lucia Sandrini (fashion designers), Gaspare Buzzatti (jewel designer), Giovanni Tomasini (product designer), Ruggero Altomare (industrial designer), Alessandra Mori (designer), Patrizia Tarolla (designer), Elena Cecchini e Giulia Novali (graphic designers), Serena Bianchi e Ester Luzzeri (marketing manager), Lorenzo Maternini (event manager)
