Allow the lure to make contact with the sea bed and then immediately lift the rod slowly to animate the lure. It is now necessary to impart sharp jerking actions and far better to provide a slow lifting acction and allow the lure to move naturally.
It is important to strike hard when a fish hits the lure to ensure a good hook up !
