The Internet is a resource for you to learn, search, etc. There are ways to use the Internet safely, here are some tips for you to use: • Use different passwords with numbers signs, etc. Use unique passwords for all of your accounts ( in each one use a different password).

Do not give any personal info to strangers neither on the Internet and out of Internet. Put the anti-virus on your computer to be safe.
First you have to see how you want to reasearch the info you want to find, normally use keywords, use the more appropriate or useful methods ( like the one mensioned before) and give credit to the sources. Websites are part of the Internet, a website is a related group of pages on the worldwide web that have facts and information, etc.
Be carefull when you are searching on Internet because there are unsafe websites. An unsafe website is a website that is not safe or dangerous. That website can transfer viruses and other damaging things for your electronic device. Even though there are as well safe websites, great for kids to visit or research on like: • www.zoodles.com, (2-4 years) that is website where your kids can play games safely and learn. • www.kidinfo.com, (5-7 years) that is website for you kids to reaserch safely and helps them with their homework.
Sometimes bad things appear in websites, and if that happens to you close the tab you are at and the page and talk to your parents. Stay away from the Pop-Ups. The Pop-Ups are Little tabs that appear randomly after you click in something. You can block or modify the raiting system. Sometimes you just need to tell an adult to see it before you (or the kid) so after they check it they tell you if you can see it or not
VIRUSES Some viruses you should avoid are: • Boot Sector Virus: a very dangerous one because it infects your master boot record. • Resident Viruses: they plant themselves in your computer. • Polimorphic Virus: the are really dificult for your anti-virus to detect.

Spacefiller Virus: these are really intelligent , more than most viruses.
There are 4 types of malware (viruses): Virus, Worms, Trojan Horse and Spyware. • The virus spreads easly on your phone, computer, etc. slow down and it can also delet your documents and apps. • The worms are malware that spreads through your electronic devices . Worms copy themselves so they can damage your device. They can send themselves by email. • The trojan horse will “switch” identity like if they were a safe program and then it will attack your device. • The spyware installs itself into your device. It keeps record of what you texted, your passwords, etc. it it can use your webcam to spy you an you woulden´t notice. If your electronic device has a virus you need to desconect any internet from the electronic device, then you need delete your temporary files, download an anti-virus scanner, and scan with the anti-malware.
Cookies A cookie is text information that a web site stores in your computer so that if you visit that website again that information can be reviewed and used. It is a message between an web server and a web browser.

When you use internet, there are many things you should be aware about. You should always be careful with what you send, especially with images. For this, you need to check what appears in the image. Sometimes things you do not want to appear in an image ca accidentally appear. Be aware that this things can hurt other people. If you feel threatened by a comment, make sure you do not respond rudely because that can create anger. So, think before you send anything to that person. Also, you can always ask for help of an adult you trust.

Sometimes people post things without thinking before. Only post images if you feel happy with what you are sharing. Another important thing is when you share personal info, you need to be aware that people can access to your life with that data. It’s very important that you do not share passwords with anyone.

Posting personal info is not always a good thing to do. Many people do not think about the risks of sharing personal info. Be sure if you do post this to not put any private info like how old you are, where do you live, your full name, etc. Sometimes, if you post this stuff, people can make bad things to you. It`s better if you don`t share this information at all.
THINGS YOU DO NOT LIKE The first thing you should do if you receive a comment you do not like is check if it is appropriate or not. You know when something is appropriate because you shouldn`t feel bad or uncomfortable with the comment. You also can tell and adult about the comments you dislike (be sure it is an adult you trust). Also, before you post, think if the person will feel good about what you post.

Not only photos can be stolen and used by strangers, and GPS technology can reveal your location and strangers may know were you are. You can trust someone if your chatting, only if you know who you are texting or sharing things to, but this is not always safe. You don't need to be aggressive because you need to be aware that you can hurt other people’s feelings. You should be aware of who you follow and who follows you, so that in the future that person won’t hurt you by something thay has been posted.

Safe internet is when you don’t put your personal information. Limit the information you share in social media safe internet is when you DON’T write or give any personal info or localization to any stranger . You can get viruses or get hacked by the people who post the download you can get viruses affected dangers and other things and specially don’t download free files.
Sometimes when you enter an untrudsted web site when you cant see in the background it can start downloading. And sometimes the antiviruses programs are actually a virus.
