3.2.3 EP Experience Preparation Key achievements and strategy analysis
Project Description: We develop models of better EP Experience preparation for better experiences. Impact on team purpose: By focusing on the EP experiences we are able to create more promoters of AIESEC to grow our Exchange programmes and achieve MoS both in 12/13 and towards long term AIESEC 2015 sustainable growth. We deliver our value proposition and reconnect our experiences with the “Why” of AIESEC and how our exchange programmes help young people to explore and develop their leadership potential.
Co-delivery of Experiences: GCDP focus Purpose: Clear framework for entities to collaborate in co-delivering better experiences for our EPs. Progress overall: Identification of Exchange processes and which processes need to be co-delivered by both hosting and sending entity together (see below)
1. Expectation Setting Purpose: For EPs to have the right expectation of the value proposition of our programme— not low expectations Progress in network (strategy example): Packaging GCDP experience into a self-discovery journey in a challenging multicultural environment— for example Global Young Leaders (GCP - India) will help EPs to understand how they react to difficulties is actually the learning and purpose of the GCDP experience that’s why it’s an experiential leadership development program not only travelling abroad. 2. Project Job Description Preparation Purpose: Decreasing the amount of misalignment and lack of Job Description of an intern during their GCDP through a collaboration and involvement of more NGO or other institutions. 3. Reception Purpose: Every single EP is integrated with the LC through a connection with its members and having efficiency in the process through engaging different stakeholders. Progress in network (strategy example): An intern integration seminar conducted by hosting entities during peak of the realizations— for trainees Efficiency of reception— can be improved by involving more parties in the process, such as hosting families. 4. Team Leader Preparation Purpose: EPs with a TMP/TLP experience can be the one maintaining other co-EPs’ experience by leading their experience throughout the duration of the GCDP experience. Progress in network (strategy example): Utilization of EPs with TMP/TLP experience in leading other EPs—they are prepared by both sending and hosting entity by setting the right objective for better delivery of GCDP programme. Strategy Implementation 21 entities covering every region currently implementing the project: 1. Spreading GCPs of existing strategies 2. Use NPS data to tackle specific issues coming directly from customer feedback. 3. Facilitate co-delivery of key partnerships on the above (Brazil-Colombia, India-Mainland China, Egypt-Italy)
