HIRING & RECRUITING SUCCESS AT INTERNATIONAL JOB & CAREER FAIR

Nearly 400 job seekers flocked to Petrus Hall on Saturday, May 13 for the highly anticipated International Job & Career Fair. With the goal of connecting job seekers with leading employers, this event provided a unique opportunity for attendees to discover their dream jobs while expanding their professional networks. Job seekers were able to speak to recruiters directly and even conduct on-site in-person interviews.

The job fair showcased a diverse range of employers from different industries, including Health Careers Manitoba, Winnipeg Free Press, Government of Manitoba, City of Winnipeg, Canadian Armed Forces, Turning Leaf Support Services, Epic Opportunities, Independent Living Resource Centre, Del Communications, Fairmont Hotel, Lazy Bear Expeditions, Sea Bears, Vickar Auto Group, Manitoba Association of Filipino Teachers, Inc (MAFTI), and virtual exhibitors Mary Brown's Chicken and Russell Inn.

Recognizing the challenges faced by newcomers, settlement agencies such as Immigrant Centre Manitoba and Seven Oaks Immigrant Services were present to offer valuable assistance, including employment services.
