GMA Network’s newest comedy sitcom ‘Open 24/7’

Alaughter-filled Saturday night awaits loyal Kapuso viewers as GMA Network airs its brand new sitcom Open 24/7 beginning May 27 on GMA. Bringing in the laughs is the highlyanticipated on-screen comedic collaboration of Bossing Vic Sotto as Boss EZ and multitalented actress Maja Salvador as Mikaela. Boss EZ is a reluctant, socially awkward guy who finds himself suddenly in charge of a convenience store. Meanwhile, Mikaela is a funny and very "kikay" girl who is one of Boss EZ’s crazy Gen-Z crew in the store.

Following their successful teamup in their first-ever primetime series ‘Luv is: Caught in His Arms," Sparkle sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay are set to solidify their love team via GMA Public Affairs’ digital drama series ‘In My Dreams,’ which airs online beginning May 18.

The six-part narrative series follows the story of Sari (Sofia), a certified NBSB who feels she has no control over anything in her life. One day, she stumbles upon an article about lucid dreaming and attempts to achieve it until she finally does. In her dream, she meets a handsome young man named Jecoy (Allen). With her consistent lucid dreaming, the two reunite each night and eventually fall in love.

Will the romance she found in her dreams become a reality?

With the unique storyline, Sofia and Allen welcomed the chance for them to explore their roles.

"[It was] Really enjoyable kasi since kakaiba nga po 'yung kwento, nakapag-explore [ako] ng kakaibang acting style," shares Sofia.

“Mas na-realize ko po na may mga kailangan [at pwede] pa akong gawin kasi maganda 'yung twist ng kuwento,” says Allen.

Joining Team Jolly are fellow Sparkle artists Elijah Alejo, Cheska Fausto, Tanya Ramos, Juancho Trivino, and Sanya Lopez. Adding excitement to the romance-magic realism series are content creators Ashley Rivera, Christian Antolin, Berniecular, Alexis Vines, and Prince Adrian Dagdag.

'In My Dreams' is from the team behind the hit series, 'The Lost Recipe.'

Catch this latest digital series beginning May 18, from Tuesdays to Thursdays at 6 PM on GMA Public Affairs’ Facebook page and Youtube channel.

Joining them in making the viewers crack up every weekend are Jose Manalo as Spark, Sparkle Sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay as Kitty and Al, and Sparkle artists Riel Lomadilla as Bekbek, Anjay Anson as Andoy, Kimson Tan as Kokoy, Abed Green as Fred, and Bruce Roeland as Doe.

Boss EZ’s convenience store, "Open 24/7," was started by his brother through a bank loan. Unfortunately, his brother had an accident and is temporarily disabled. As the co-borrower, Boss EZ has no option but to take responsibility and deal with all the difficulties of managing his zany Gen-Z crew and quirky clients, or risk losing everything.

Despite all that, Boss EZ is motivated by his love for his brother, his employees, and his clients. He aims to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud. Although they may not be perfect, the convenience store is his home, and they are his family.

Under the helm of JR Reyes and M-Zet Productions, Open 24/7 airs beginning May 27, after Magpakailanman on GMA-7.
