Reserve your spot by submitting your completed entry form (below) and pay the entry fee by APRIL 22 and NO LATER – don’t delay because there are only 25 spots available for this program and they are assigned on a first come, first served basis. SASKATCHEWAN RESIDENTS ONLY.
NO EXPERIENCE OF ANY SORT IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE! The $40/$50 entry fee includes (a) a cartridge of super 8 film, (b) processing services, and (c) guaranteed exhibition. You can provide your own cartridge of film for this project (NO NEGATIVES). If you do, then you pay only $25 for a processing fee to guarantee your inclusion as one of the participants. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR FILM WHEN YOU PAY YOUR FEE.

SHOOT YOUR FILM between these dates. Most participants take a day or less to shoot their film – others take three weeks. There’s no wrong way to do this. Films don’t have to be ONE TAKE, multiple shots are just fine.

Submit your exposed film to the Filmpool office by this deadline and NO LATER (if you miss this deadline we cannot guarantee your inclusion and you forego your processing). All participants’ cartridges will be shipped together as a package to the lab and will be spliced together for the screening prior to returning to Regina – it is for this reason that no late inclusions can be permitted.Remember to confirm the title of your film and director’s name when returning your cartridge. There will be no opportunity to edit or preview your film prior to the event screening. What you shoot is what is screened at 18fps.
