CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FILMPOOL PREMIERE SCREENING 2013
The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is dedicated to the production and exhibition of independent, visionary Saskatchewan-made, film and video art. The Filmpool Premiere Screening 2013 would not be possible without the amazing contributions from the Filmpool’s active membership. The annual Filmpool Premiere Screening is designed to showcase and celebrate the amazing, creative and diversity of the film and video works by the Members of the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative.
Guidelines -
The Filmpool asks that only current Members of the Filmpool, with a Full or Basic Membership submit works. Film, video or motion picture project must have been completed in the past two years and your film was not selected to screen at the Filmpool Premiere Screening 2012.

Please submit your submission on USB stick, Data DVD, or online file sharing (Dropbox or FTP). Include 1 or 2 stills from the film.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 8, 2013 (if you do not receive a confirmation email within 3 days of submitting, please contact the Filmpool) VENUE: Artesian on 13th (2627 13th ave) DATE: Thursday November 28, 2013 Any further inquiry or to submit this form via email: programs@filmpool.ca or call (306)757-8818 There is no time limit. Short works as well as mid to feature length works can be submitted. Longer works may be considered for a serperate individual screening night. This is a competitive process juried by peers under Filmpool policy. Films are assessed under the context of the Filmpool’s mandate. Preference will be given to films created in the last year. Following an adjudication process with a jury, applicants will be notified by November 18th of the results. There will be no late submissions accepted. IMAA standards for artist’s fees will be honored for all selected filmmakers. All selected 2013 Premiere Screening filmmakers will be asked to be present for the Q&A session & reception following the Premiere Screening. Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Filmpool Premiere Screening for promotional purposes. The individual submitting the film warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
