Fils Tunechi

At age 09, while living near Los Angeles, Fils Tunechi began filming skateboard videos, short films and concerts. Before graduating high school he was already an award winning filmmaker. He went on to film school at Chapman University, where he began producing and directing music videos for both national and local artists, along with two award winning films. He then went to be Head of Creative for an online music video channel which landed him the job as director for a nationally syndicated television show. In 2004, Fils Tunechi founded Explicit, a home for himself and other skilled directors. He has since produced and directed numerous Music Videos, Commercials, Short Films, and the feature film Measure. When not acting as Executive Producer or Director for Def Jam & Hollywood he spends his time taking photographs, collecting vintage cameras, hanging out with his dogs, eating sushi, or running with the bulls.
