The inaugural Geelong Art Show is here in 2023!

The Geelong Art Show Inc. is already creating a lot of interest amongst local artists. With a board of dedicated volunteer committee members working towards this being an annual event to weave into the social calendar of Geelong for local artists from Geelong and surrounding communities to enter into. The committee plans to build this event each year with more categories and be more inclusive of artistic genres. This year we start with four categories, 1. Oils, 2. Acrylics, 3. Watercolours, and 4. Charcoals, Ink, Graphite and Pastels.

On Friday the 18th of August the opening night of the show will be held. The opening night will see leading Geelong dignitaries and our sponsors invited to join the artists at the official launch of the art show. Finger food and beverages will be served prior to the opening ceremony. All funds raised from the 2023 Geelong Art Show Inc. will be donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation through the Geelong Region Cancerians.
