Shiva Golian, D.O., and David Harrison, D.O., are board-certified proctologists who can care for your patients at Bethesda Colon and Rectal. Dr. Golian is also board certified in internal medicine and developed an interest in proctology when she began working with Dr. Harrison during her residency. She now is passionate about proctology and anorectal surgery. Many female patients find comfort in seeing a female proctologist.

Dr. Harrison has been a practicing proctologist for more than 27 years. He is also a retired Lt. Col. for the U.S. Air Force Reserve and served as a flight surgeon for ten years.

Both physicians believe it’s essential to treat patients with compassion, to listen to their questions and concerns, and to provide them with detailed, easy-to-understand information.
