Originally hailing from Poland, Opalinski was inspired at an early age. Upon realization of his hyperawareness of the environment around him, he found comfort in the pages of his sketchbook. At 20, Opalinski left Poland to study in the UK where his talents soared and he eventually established himself as an artist/designer of all things, namely furniture. Many became enthralled by Opalinski’s creations as they grew to be referred to as not only functional but pieces of art.
