FINLOG is a family run business and as such is able to provide valuable personal assistance to our clients from the design stage to the construction. We specialise in providing you with genuine log buildings made in our own factory in Finland, manufacturing our log buildings to the clients individual requirements. We are proud to introduce you to our range of Transportable Log buildings. Built to exceed BS3632 (mobile home regulation). All our buildings are built to the same exacting standard.

Our design brief is quality: the result is a superior 88 mm laminated wall (choice of log sizes) and 9 part roof system, for which we are proud to offer an endless guarantee (subject to contract). Laminated logs are so much stronger and stable than nonlaminated. This concept is carried through even to doors and window frames. All our timber is sourced from Finland and Russia as a result is very slow grown, strong and stable. This is why with the right maintenance we can offer our endless guarantee.

1. We only use logs from our own sources in Northern Finland. We use our own factory to manufacture Finlog buildings.

7. Transportable Buildings built to surpass BS3632.

2. Floor: You choose underfloor heating or radiators, triple sealed, PU and glass wool insulation.

8. Roof: Our roof system is a 9 components design, 25 year guarantee.

3. Sub frame: Laminated beams with C24 grade rafters.

9. Soffits, Barge ends and fascia’s: All painted all round, two coats on exterior faces, soffits vented for airflow.

4. Doors & Windows: Choice of insurance approved “secure by design” units or Scandinavian units.

10. Angled profile to cope with UK weather.

5. Paint coatings: We use a highly UV resistant stain or colour externally and a UV resistant clear coating internally to avoid the logs discolouring.

6. Deck: Redwood non grooved deck as standard – option to upgrade to composite.

11. Guarantee: We offer an initial 5 year guarantee renewable on re-coating.
