WELCOME TO FIRe The Largest European Digital Finance Hub
A THRIVING FINANCE COMMUNITY IN THE HEART OF EUROPE FinTech Belgium has announced the opening of FIRe, the largest hub dedicated to Digital Finance, located in the heart of Europe in Brussels, Belgium. It is the meeting point for Belgian actors and international business travellers. The right place to meet like-minded people and give root to new ideas and co-operation that will become the breeding ground for innovation and collaboration in the Digital Finance world. Apart from offering co-working, office and meeting space, facilities to host events, seminars and training, we will also welcome all travellers in our Business lounge. Starting in September 2020, we will move into temporary offices on Av.Louise (1000 Brussels). As of Q2 2021, our final location will be ready in the iconic former Shell building right in front of Brussels’ Central Station. 4

2. DIGITAL FINANCE TRAVELLERS Part of the Digital Finance ecosystem and travelling to Brussels? In between 2 meetings in Brussels and in need of a place to hang out and work for a couple of hours? Travelling to Brussels and looking for a room to organise a meeting? The FIRe Hub will welcome travellers involved in Digital Finance, whether from Belgium or abroad, needing a harbour for a day or a couple of hours.

THE FEDERATION BY AND FOR FINTECHS IN BE A grass-root non-profit association since 2015 gathering professionals, startup entrepreneurs and investors interested in disruptive business models and new technology for the financial industry. FinTech Belgium gathers the whole Digital ecosystem: FinTech, RegTech, Insurtech, Accountech, ..., federating and representing approx. 100 FinTechs active in Belgium.

We share experience and knowledge within and outside the community through the organisation of various events (20 in 2020) such as: MeetUps and conferences, workshops, webinars, specific trainings (regulation, cybersecurity, ‌), pitch and matchmaking sessions, a job fair, a general assembly (coupled with a survey amongst our members), and ‌ the annual Digital Finance Summit, the big Belgian Digital Finance mass gathering +550 delegates every year.

OUR PARTNER SILVERSQUARE PIONEER OF CO-WORKING IN BELGIUM https://silversquare.eu/ Silversquare acted as a pioneer in this sector in Belgium and in Europe, a success story which didn’t escaped this vigilant eye of the real estate operator Befimmo. The company confirmed its interest by buying 61% of the Silversquare shares, a year after the creation of the joint-venture Silversquare@Befimmo !

12 YEARS EXPERIENCE! Twelve years after its launch, the Belgian company has come a long way !
