Section VI. Research Process Reflection and Learning 1. Think back to the research process from the beginning to the mid-point and two where you are right now and answer: a. What were the difficulties? (6 lines typed total for a & b)

b. What were the successes? 2. Describe what it was like for you to think about, plan and then gather the different kinds of information you have now in your project. Use specific anecdotes (stories/specific incidents that happened within your group). [For example…some of you can talk about the frustration of not finding literature, not having your interviewee come through for you or having a really interesting interviewee, Some of you can talk about having to change up your question, not having computer access, having some group mates really take the lead in a certain situation…anything that occurred while working on this project.] (5 lines typed)

(3 lines typed) 6. How can this type of research empower youth to be activists around important social and community issues? (4 lines typed)

Section VII. Pitch Piece Presentation: Conclusions and Recommendations Were you able to answer your research question? If so, what is your thesis statement ? What are your major findings (2-3 things you discovered during the research process) and what is your recommendation to addressthe problem you identified? How has your study brought us closer to understanding the nature of the problem or potential solutions to the problem?

What next steps would you recommend to help addressthe social issue you identified and to further answer your research question (Hint: think about what your strategy is on your Strategy Map)? What additional research would you like to seeconducted in the future? Who do you think MOSTneedsto know the results of your PARproject in order for real change to happen? What are your final thoughts, concluding words, or anecdote (Hint: this will be the paragraph that ENDSyour project?
