Box Truck Fire Shuts Down Peters Mountain

Calls came in fora box truck fire on the Dauphin-Middle Paxton side of Peters Mountain. While en route to the scene, county was advised of a column of smoke visible. Upon Tanker38’s arrival they found a working fire in the engine/cab area of a box truck. Crews from Company 37 and 29 assisted in the extinguishment/overhaul of remaining hot spots. Crews were assisted by EMS from Life Team as well as Pennsylvania State Police and fire police. RiverDrive Service C enteroperated on scene to remove the damaged truck - Fire News photo by Seth Lasko
