Training Bi-Yearly 24 HourSimulation Training

On May 6, 2023, the Cranberry Township VolunteerFire Department hosted a 24-houremergency response simulations training class. Firefighters from Station 21 (Cranberry Twp.), Station 22 (Harmony Fire District), Station 42 (Adams Area Fire District), Station 3 (ButlerTwp. Fire District ) and Station 149 (Etna Fire, Allegheny County) participated in the program. Calls ranged from medical assist calls, fire alarms, structure fires, vehicle fires, confined space, rope rescue, helicopterfire, brush fires, tech rescues, and a l ist of othercalls. Every call challenged the firefighters. All participants had a fun time. Cranberry Township Fire Company does these trainings twice a year, once in the spring and then in the fall.
