Project 2 - Thyme of Day : Fitness & Boutique
Design Challenge
Design Solution
The Purpose of this project was to re-brand a yoga studio based in Clermont, FL that specializes in naturalistic remedies and beauty products. The home made products include essential oils, lotions and body scrubs that naturally take care of the body. Their target audience are middle class women ages 25 - 35 that have busy lives and want to improve their health and fitness in a naturalistic way. The competitors are other local yoga studios such as One Yoga and Fitness Harrow Yoga and Still Lake Yoga. What makes this studio unique is the homey feel and the products that they provide.
The Solution for this design was to focus on the natural herbs used in the essential oil products and in the name. Thyme of day is a play on words, thyme the herb and making time in your day to focus on taking care of yourself. The handwritten lettering gives it a softer more home made look. The color pallet consists of purple and green. Purple being the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment and green a color associated with nature. The labels will be made out of recycled paper. The whole design solution focuses on the natural aspects of the studio.
