Letter From the Pastor 2014 Ministry and Missions Budget With three weeks to go in our 2014 budget year we need to receive $558,453 to reach our budget goal. Last week’s budget offering was over $102,000 which gave us a great start to reaching our goal by December 31. As you think and pray about year end giving, I hope you will keep our Ministry Budget foremost in your mind and help us end 2014 on a positive note. I want to thank you for your generosity toward our Christmas ministries this year. Elves Shelves helped over 1,900 children have a Merry Christmas and you helped 23 of our own families representing over 80 children through Blessings Tree. 225 people made professions of faith at Elves Shelves this year and a few dozen others asked to be followed up with in the weeks ahead. These two ministries truly are what God has called us to do in sharing the gospel and meeting the needs of those in our own neighborhood. It’s already been a great Christmas at First Denton and it’s still two weeks away!
