We love God by living a life of genuine worship, prayer and study of God’s Word. Loving God means being fully devoted to Him and living a life of obedience. Jesus said the world will know us by our love. We love people by first loving fellow believers in the church, and then loving and meeting the needs of people in Denton and around the world. Disciples are simply followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples through our worship services, Sunday Groups, Bible studies and one-on-one relationships. Our goal is to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Share Jesus
At First Denton we believe everyone is called by God to share Jesus with those who are not yet believers in Christ. We are all ministers and God gives us unique opportunities to share the gospel message with those in our circles of influence.

First Look February 4 • 6 pm • S-111 First Look is a chance for new members and those who are interested in joining to see all that we have to offer. It is also an opportunity to get connected. A light supper will be served, so please RSVP at FirstDenton.org/firstlook. Shoes for Orphan Souls Collection Day February 8 Bring one, two or twelve pairs of shoes and let a child know that God loves them and that First Denton cares about them. Please bring the shoes to the front of the worship center that morning and they will be prayed over before being sent all over the world. Valentine Banquet February 8 • 6 pm • FH The theme for this year's Valentine Banquet is "Bring Your One & Only." Our guest speaker is comedian David Ferrell. Tickets are $10 per person and include a catered Mexican meal. Pick yours up in the main office today or Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm. Elves Shelves Appreciation Banquet February 12 • 6 pm • FH We are having an Elves Shelves volunteer appreciation banquet to celebrate and thank those who have blessed this ministry. If you volunteered in any way for Elves Shelves, this banquet is for you. Preteen Extreme Weekend February 27–28 All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are invited to join us for this Extreme Night at the Museum. Several Biblical characters will come to life as they teach us how to live as a Christian.The cost of $55 covers bowling, laser tag, games, pizza, drinks and a t-shirt. Register by February 15 at FirstDenton.org/museum.

Super Bowl Party Tonight • 5 pm • CLC Join us for a fun night of watching the big game, having a good time with other families and playing games in the gym. Please bring a snack or a dessert to share. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Women
Lunch Bunch February 10 • 11:45 am • FH You will enjoy fellowship with old friends and have the opportunity to meet new ones at Lunch Bunch. This month’s theme is “How Sweet It Is,” and will include a cupcake competition. A baked potato and salad bar lunch will be provided for $5. Register by February 6 at FirstDenton.org/lunchbunch. Beast Feast February 21 • 5 pm • FH All hunters and fishermen are encouraged to share the wild game they have caught or killed, so start saving your meat. We will also have outdoor vendors from around the area.There will be door prize drawings and lots of great giveaways, including a deer rifle, as well as a raffle for a brand new 12 gauge shotgun. Tickets are $5 each. Missions
Mission Trip Sign-Ups February 1 & 8 The Missions Ministry staff will be available in the church office before and after both services today to answer questions, provide forms and take deposits for all upcoming mission trips. Praise Team Auditions February 4 & 5 Open auditions for the Praise Band will be on February 4 from 9–10 pm. Auditions for Praise Vocals will be on February 5 from 5:30–8 pm. Please stop by the Music Office to pick up an audition packet and schedule an audition.
