Make Disciples
Disciples are simply followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples through our worship services, Sunday Groups, Bible studies and one-on-one relationships. Our goal is to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Share Jesus
At First Denton we believe everyone is called by God to share Jesus with those who are not yet believers in Christ. We are all ministers and God gives us unique opportunities to share the gospel message with those in our circles of influence.

90 Acres Q&A Session Today • 4 pm • WC There will be a Q&A session today at 4 pm in the Worship Center to discuss the possible sale of our 90 acres. Wednesday Evening Schedule Change We will not be having Wednesday dinner or Bible study on February 10 & 17 due to the construction. All other activities will continue as normal. First Look February 17 • 6 pm • FH First Look is a chance for new members and those who are interested in joining to see all that we have to offer. It is also an opportunity to get connected. Preteen Extreme Weekend February 26–27 • 10:30 pm–7 am Current 3rd–5th graders are invited to join us for an overnight “Leap of Faith” adventure at Strikz Entertainment in Frisco. Cost is $60 and includes food, drinks and a t-shirt. Register at FirstDenton.org/preteen. Students
Planet Wisdom February 12–13 Planet Wisdom is a two-day conference at Irving Bible Church for our 8th Grade students to dig deeper into the Bible and see their world from God’s perspective. The cost is $75, which includes conference fees, transportation and hotel. Register on the Student Floor or online at FirstDenton.org/pw. Camping Trip/Paintball February 26–27 • DFW Adventure Park The guys of the Student Ministry will go camping Friday night and the girls are invited to join them for an intense game of paintball on Saturday. The cost of paintball is $30 and $5 to camp. Bring extra money for lunch after paintball on Saturday. Sign up at FirstDenton.org/camping. Family
Super Bowl Party Join us in the CLC tonight at 5 pm to watch the Super Bowl with other families. Drinks will be provided. Please bring a snack to share.

Deacon Meeting There will be a Deacon Meeting on Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Dessert and drinks will be served. Men Who Win Conference March 4–5 • Worship Center The Men Who Win conference will challenge men to maximize their potential in their homes, church and workplace. Cost is $25 per person. The conference will be March 4, 6:30–9:30 pm and March 5, 8:30 am–12 pm. Register at FirstDenton.org/men-who-win. Adult 55+
39ers Lunch Adults 55+ will gather for a meal and fellowship on Friday, February 12 at 11:30 am. This month we will be meeting at Chinatown Cafe due to the construction in Fellowship Hall. The buffet will cost about $10. Dr. John Beck will be speaking. Missions
Shoes for Orphan Souls Work Day February 13 • 7:45 am–1 pm We will travel to the Buckner warehouse to help prepare, sort, and pack shoes to be shipped around the world. Singing Women of Texas February 21 • 6 pm • WC The Singing Women of Texas is comprised of professional and nonprofessional singers and instrumentalists. The North Central Chapter is active in ministry and missions throughout the state, nationally and internationally. The music of SWOT includes contemporary, southern gospel, hymn arrangements and patriotic selections. Recreation
Beast Feast February 20 • 5 pm • CLC All hunters and fishermen are encouraged to share their wild game they have caught or killed, so start saving your meat. We will also have outdoor vendors from around the area.There will be door prize drawings and lots of great giveaways. Johnny Quinn will be our guest speaker. He competed in the 2014 Olympics in the bobsled.
