Jesus said the world will know us by our love. We love people by first loving fellow believers in the church, and then loving and meeting the needs of people in Denton and around the world.
Make Disciples
Disciples are simply followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples through our worship services, Sunday Groups, Bible studies and one-on-one relationships. Our goal is to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Share Jesus
At First Denton we believe everyone is called by God to share Jesus with those who are not yet believers in Christ. We are all ministers and God gives us unique opportunities to share the gospel message with those in our circles of influence.

Kid’s Night Out Friday • September 12 • 6-10 pm School has started and it's time for All About Apples at this month's Kid's Night Out. Children ages birth through 5th grade are welcome. The cost is $8 per child with a $26 family max. Register online at FirstDenton.org/kno by today. Young Adults

Women’s Fall Bible Study Beginning September 14, 16 & 17 This fall we will be studying "Children of the Day," an in-depth Bible study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians by Beth Moore. 39ers Lunch September 12 • 11:30 am • FH Adults 55+ get together for a meal and fellowship the second Friday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. This month we will hear an update from Dr. Jeff Williams on our building campaign. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Missions
First Refuge Anniversary Saturday • September 20 • 6-9 pm First Refuge will be celebrating its one year anniversary of the opening of its medical clinic and counseling ministries. Join us for a free outdoor concert, testimonies and food trucks in the parking lot of First Refuge. Please bring a lawn chair. Parking will be available at First Denton. We will have shuttles to take you to First Refuge. Worship & Music
Praise Team Auditions The Music & Worship Ministry will be holding auditions for those interested in being part of the 11 am service Praise Team. Stop by the Music Office before September 16 to sign up for an audition time and pick up a packet of information that will include audition requirements. Praise Band auditions will be September 17 and Praise Vocal auditions will be September 18. Recreation
Upward Registration Beginning September 8 Through Upward Basketball & Cheerleading, children will develop individually, teams will grow together and strong relationships will be formed. Boys & girls in grades K–6th may participate. The cost is $70 per child through September 30. If you register after October 1 the cost will be $75. Uniforms are included in the cost.
